Prabhupāda: ...approach Kṛṣṅa. Not that [indistinct] ...Hmm ...not for material benefit but for getting facilities to approach gopīs they worship Kātyāyanī for getting Kṛṣṅa as a husband. So we should follow. [indistinct].

sṛṣṭi-sthiti-pralaya-sādhana-śaktir ekā chāyeva yasya bhuvanāni bibharti durgā icchānurūpam api yasya ca ceṣṭate sā govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi [Bs 5.44]

[The external potency Māyā who is of the nature of the shadow of the cit potency, is worshiped by all people as Durgā, the creating, preserving and destroying agency of this mundane world. I adore the primeval Lord Govinda in accordance with whose will Durgā conducts herself.]

She acts according to the order of Govinda. Therefore to approach Govinda, if one prays to Kātyāyanī, it is very helpful.
