This song was originally "rādhe rādhe / śyāma se milāde" ("Radhe Radhe! Please introduce me to Syama!) which was a typical Vraja vasi chant. As this approach is not in line with the approaches defined per Gaudiya Vaisnava lineages, the song was edited to the version presented above, as some singers have sung the above alternate version. Song first popularized by Vaiyasaki Dasa's 1983 album, "Transcendence." This was sung in Raga Kafi in Kaherva Tala. Other ways to render this is "rādhe rādhe / śyāma rādhe rādhe."
