The noble Lord Nityananda is never angry, for He is the personification of supreme transcendental bliss. Devoid of any concept of false ego, Nitai wanders about the town.

patita jīvera dvāre dvāre giyā harināma
mahā-mantra dicchena bilāiyā

adhama - wretched; patita - the destitute; jīvera - of the souls; dvāre dvāre - door to door; giyā - having gone; harināma mahā-mantra - the great chanting of the Holy Names; dicchena - He gives; bilāiyā - distributing
Going from door to door in the residences of the most fallen and wretched souls, He freely distributes the gift of the Hari-nama mahamantra.

dekhe tā're kahe dante tṛṇa dhari' 'āmāre
kiniyā laha bala gaurahari'

jā're dekhe - whoever He sees; tā're kahe - to them He says; dante - in the teeth tṛṇa dhari' - holding straw; āmāre kiniyā - purchasing Me; laha - please take; bala - say; gaurahari - Lord Caitanya
He exclaims to whomever he sees while holding straw between his teeth, "Please purchase me by worshipping Gaurahari!"

avatāre jā'ra rati nā janmila locana
bale sei pāpī ela āra gela
Word for word
hena avatāre - for such an incarnation; jā'ra rati - whose affection; nā janmila - has not come about; locana - Locana dasa Thakura; bale - says; sei pāpī - that sinful person; ela - comes; āra - and; gela - goes (in repeated birth and death).
Locana Dasa Thakura says, "Whoever has not experienced the awakening of affection for such an avatara as this, that sinful person simply comes and goes uselessly in the cycle of repeated birth and death."
